Isn’t cutting the course illegal?

Section 4.7 of the North American Sports Act has the following definition of race completion.

“…an athlete’s final finish time is determined by electronic timing devices along an established course route. If the athlete has been shown to have crossed all timing devices they hereforth will be seen to have fully completed the race course…”

All Course Cutter Marathon Maps™ ensure that you cross all timing mats on the course to adhere to this standard.

How many maps are available for each marathon?

There are 20 Course Cutter Marathon Maps™ available for each marathon. Once those 20 are sold you’ll have to wait for next year!
